Jason was great in finding the best spots and putting us right where we need to be.

Had a great afternoon on the water with Captain Jason. When we showed up he was ready to go with six rods rigged and prepped with paddletails. It was just two of us and Jason, but the skiff could have easily handled four fishermen. Jason took us to the first spot where we didn’t get anything into the boat, but he didn’t waste anytime. After about 15 mins we moved to the next spot and bam, we started landing keeper specks almost immediately. Once he spotted that location, we kept drifted the area repeatedly and landed at least 15 fish over the next hour and a half. We had our limit within two hours, but were able to keep catching and releasing for fun. I know every trip can’t turn out as well as ours; I’ve recently fished the South Texas Coast and South Florida the past two months, so I know. But, on this day we filled the cooler. Jason’s expertise and real desire to put you on fish was apparent immediately. We’re looking forward to getting back out there again with Jason when we return!

Jason took us out on a morning half day float and it was great.  He got us on fish early and gave my teenage son the rod to bring in our largest catch of the day.  He moved when we needed to and gave us good instruction and guidance to fishing inshore at Oregon Inlet.  I would highly recommend and look forward to our next trip on the Nancy Cay!

We were here to fish for my son’s senior trip, had an extra half day and booked Jason, and wish we had more time with Jason. He worked us around bad weather, got us into quality trout and blues, and hooked a bug drum for my son to land on our way back in. Didn’t waste our time. Will use him again. Recommend.
