Captain Todd and first mate Jesse ensured we had a great time and were very knowledgeable about the area/weather conditions/seasonal fish for our 8 hour ride. We drove through some swelling on our way to the rigs, but there was no doubt that we were in good hands! We trolled for big game and also threw jigs out at the rigs. I caught my first ever Cobia that was a whopping 42lbs! Though the swells were so big they took great lengths to enure we got onto big fish. Captain Todd took great care to fillet the Cobia and recommended local places for cooking.
I definitely recommend this fish tour to anyone interested in off-shore fishing!

I actually did a drive by of the port before selecting a boat. The thing I liked about Captain Todd’s boat “Reel Madness” was how well it was maintained and the two fishing chairs at the back. Fernando, the deck hand, was great. He worked hard keeping the gear in the water with baited hooks. Captain Todd knew a place where the red snappers are always active and we ended up catching our limit. We even caught a barracuda while trolling on the way in. We had a great time.
With no doubt one of the best fishing trips i ever did !!!!! Boat , Captain, Crew were the best !!!!! And of course a lots of fish !!!! If you thinking about fishing in SPI , Captain Todd is the way to go !!!!!!
The captain was very knowledgeable and the deck hand was such a hard worker the whole time through. The blue water was much further out (50 miles) than we hoped to target bigger species, but I’d definitely look into scheduling a trip again when the blue water is closer in and the water is calmer.
