Captain Don was very patient with his time with us. We had a great time and everybody had caught some fish. Thanks for the memories
Our family of four had a great time fishing with Captain Jason & first mate Tristan. We went out on a 3 hour expedition and we anchored once Captain Jason got us to a “good” spot. The bait was in the water within moment of getting the boat secured and we started getting ‘hits’ on our lines almost immediately. My daughter caught the first fish, then my son caught the next, and then we all had to grab a pole and we were all catching fish. We were in a huge school of mackerel and they were taking our bait before it could get the bait below them to where we could possibly catch something larger. But the most important parts were that everyone had fun, the Captain & Firstmate were top notch, and no one got too motion sick from the rolling waves. We highly recommend booking with FishTaxi if youe looking for a great family outing. Next time, a 3 day trip for Blue Fin Tuna!

Captain Jason was easy to contact and kept us informed. Our group caught fish including a bull ray. Colin was quite knowledgeable about the fish and tackle. Our family would recommend this “shorty” trip for novice ocean fisherman.
Jason and Colin had the local knowledge to find and keep us on the fish all day. Two captains for the price of one. There love for fishing shined through. We fished the kelp beds and caught consistently. Any time the bite slowed we moved and the bite was on again. On the motor in and out to the kelp beds we trolled for shark. Had an awesome trip. We had a great time on our Mothers Day fishing trip. Comfortable and clean boat, great Captain and crew, fully stocked bait/equipment and plenty of fish. Highly recommend!
The crew were focused on giving me and my friends a good haul, while they showed us some techniques, everything on board was well maintained as well.
