My Father, Son, and I did the 12-4 pm fishing trip a few weeks ago. We were able to catch 4 lake trout. The Captain was very knowledgeable, polite, and great with a 6 year old on board. Josh ran the back of the boat and allowed my son to participate in letting lines out, operating the down riggers, and even allowed him to whack the fish. He kept my son entertained for the majority of the trip, even during the lulls when not catching. He was a big part of my young son having a great first fishing trip experience. We left personal items on the boat and the staff was kind enough to mail it back to us even though the shipping probably cost more than the items. My only wish was that there was a gigantic fan on board to keep the air moving and cool us down (lol) that hot day! This is something I could see us doing again- next time hunting for salmon!
