Captain Jose and deck hand Oscar were a great team. We scheduled a 6 hour trip and caught 22 or more Bonita. A couple of times we had 6 lines hooked up at the same time and there were only 4 of us.
We also saw a few Striped Marlin, but they just weren’t hitting the lures.
I would book a full day next time so we could get an earlier start and go out further.
Be sure to bring your own lunch and beer as they do not provide it. They did make ceviche for us, but it lacked jalapeño’s and cucumber.
Over all the trip was well worth what we paid.

We caught lots of fish, Bonita they are called, we had ceviche from our catch, it was really good. The crew was very knowledgeable and hard working and they made sure all lines were ready at all times. We would have loved to catch other types of fish but we changed the baits and it did not work. The bathroom is very basic but functional.
I would recommend it.

Oct. **hidden content** hrs. Offshore. Boat -Brissa II - 34 footer - Captain Enrique ? Myself (Richard) and my friend Ron from New Mexico had a target of Mahi Mahi, Sailfish and Marlin. No Marlin or Sailfish but we landed 21 Mahi Mahi. Was so burned out we told the Captain “We are done” and came in over an hour early. That was a 1st. Great trip, Great Captain and great crew. The only down side was that it was un-Godly hot and humid. Would highly recommend this boat and crew.

The day was overcast and cool, which was perfect day for us. We got into Crevalle Jacks less than 5 minutes into the trip. We also caught Bonitas and Mackerel. Through the day we say a Sea turtle next to the boat along with dolphins fairly close playing out toward the horizon with the coastline as a back drop. Captain Mike and Felipe were gracious, attending and great to be around. The fresh Ceviche that Felipe made was amazing to say the least!!! Expertly prepared in front of you (we learned some new filet techniques) and better than restaurant quality when finished. Felipe also explained the options with the bigger fish we caught in terms of taking it with us, donating it or mounting the catch. There was no pressure in any case and the no pressure approach made for easy decision making. Overall it was a memorable adventure that we will be doing again with this same charter. Enrique the owner stayed in touch the whole time ahead of the trip and made sure that I knew everything to expect and where to be. He took down a list of food items we wanted and had them ready for us to enjoy during out trip. The attention to detail and to us was second to none. I would highly recommend Vallarta Sportfishing - Brisa II to all interested people. You will not be disappointed!!!
