What a fantastic day from 7am to 11am we caught so many fish.  Pictures shows those we kept by law and so many we threw back due to same.  We caught 2 very big Grouper 19.5 inches and 19.  Didn’t make 20 inch minimum so back in but what a time bringing them in for myself and my 8 year old grandchild Anthony.  Captain Jason did a great job picking 2 different spots and we caught so many fish we highly recommend Captain Joey charter at the Hyatt.  The 32 ft Yellowfin was fantastic and we... We had the best time with the whole crew! Everyone caught fish, the crew made everyone feel comfortable, experienced or not. Highly recommend this crew! The boat was great, comfortable and spacious. If you’re lucky you’ll see some turtles, dolphins or friendly pelicans.

Day started out questionable because of weather and capt Jason mapped out a good game plan to start a few miles out go from there.  Turned out to be an awesome day, both weather and fishing. With rough seas and windy conditions it was a tough day to be on the water. The captain and first mate worked very well together and still got me on the fish. While we didn’t hook onto our Goliath grouper we were aiming for I still had a blast. Always keep in mind that it’s called fishing not catching for a reason. Enjoy the experience! I would commend a full day to anyone looking to go out but a half day caught me 7 different species of fish and one BIG Sheepshead. It was a blast!
