We are sorry that you had a bad experience. We would like to address the points you made.

Regarding the rods, you informed us prior to the trip that you’ll be using 3 of your own rods, hence only 2 rods were prepared for you. As soon as you told us on arrival that you would be using our rods instead of yours, our crew prepared them immediately and they were ready by the time of reaching the first spot.

I believe your partner didn’t start fishing till 20 minutes later as she wanted to drop the line in herself. We prioritise the safety of all our guests above all, so we assist guests in turn to ensure they are properly and safely set up. 

Typically, at any given time, one of the crew/ skipper would not be fishing so that he is available to assist you throughout. One will likely be fishing to try to help you get more fish for you to take home. As you consider that to be irresponsible behaviour, we apologise.

Fishing is never guaranteed. We are confident of our fishing spots, however many factors can affect the bite rate - tides, current, water temperature, cloud cover, wind speed, rain etc. Working with the elements is a part and the joy of fishing. On your trip we did catch a good eating medium sized tuskfish.

Regarding the fish that the skipper dropped, we apologise, that should not have happened. Our skipper then took the liberty to extend your trip by an hour in hopes of getting you more catch. 

About what you paid for the fish you caught, all we can say is luck and experience play a big part in fishing. If you would like a better yield of fish, really the supermarket is a much better place to go.

Again, we apologise deeply that you were disappointed.
