Through no fault of the captain, the weather had the best of us. It just wasn’t safe to continue our trip, so we turned around. We thought we would try again the following day, but the weather didn’t cooperate then either. You can’t control the weather! We so appreciate Capt. Gary considering safety over profit. Capt. Lee and Darla: Thank you for your kind words. Jose and I are both customer focused and try to treat our guests as we would like to be treated. We don’t always hit a “home run” (as in your case), but it’s not for lack of honest effort on our part. Rufus is doing well, he still has his issues, but seems to be enjoying himself every day. Capt Gary and Jose were great! We didn’t catch a lot, the fish were not biting. But they tried multiple locations throughout the afternoon so our boys could experience different types of fishing and we did get to bring supper home.

Feedback provided, by my friends on recent trip. Overall great trip, caught plenty of fish. Captain Gary, and mate Jose, knew how to entertain, myself, and friends. The only complaint, was that we did not go as far out, as indicated, and they would have preferred, more bottom fishing, than trolling. Reason being, majority, were looking to catch, Grouper.

Ron: Really enjoyed the AmVets team and had a lot of fun with you guys. Grouper are difficult-gags are the only species of grouper available now and to get them, requires you be in 120’ of water, which is about 35-40 miles offshore. I thought we had a pretty good day, boating 30 fish. Some of those Spanish were over 20”. Grouper fishing is great if you’re catching; a long, boring ride in the hot sun for nothing if you’re not catching. We never discussed grouper and I would have advised... Еще
