I told them when i got on the boat i wanted a monster mahi and these guys delivered! Caught a monster fish, a fish of a lifetime!
The captain and deck hand jason went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing day. We will be back and definitely go with only them every trip in the future! Book with them and you will not regret it!

Great Captain that knows where the fish are.  Capt Arek has been fishing these waters for years.  He’s funny and entertaining and filled up our cooler with fish.  His first mate, Jason, does an outstanding job keeping the everything running smoothly and efficiently.  Great price on a full day too!

Capt. Arek and First Mate Jason were fantastic! My wife and I had an absolute blast fishing on the reef. It was quite choppy, but as Capt. Arek said, “The Snappers are Snapping!” And they absolutely were.  The guys were great getting us setup, coaching us up on our form, and even set us up with a local company to get our fish flash frozen and shipped to us in Texas.  100% would fish with Capt. Arek and Jason, again. Thanks for a great time!

My wife and I had a great day on the boat with Cap’t Arek and his first mate Jason.  This seasoned team knew the offshore waters like the back of their hand and were experts in piloting and fishing.  We were off the dock at 7a on the dot and after a short gas up we headed out to target game fish. 

The boat was very nice and well outfitted.  All of the necessary rods and tackle were ready to go and there was plenty of room to sit, stand, and fish.  There was a bathroom on board, cover from the sun and everything else you might need for a day on the water. There was a cooler packed with ice for the drinks and sandwiches we brought.

We did spend the first 1.5 - 2 hrs fishing for bait which was a little bit of a disappointment as we really wanted to get down to business asap but once we got our ballyhoo and minnows we were off and Cap’t Arek knew exactly where to go and what to do.  I can say he is a seasoned captain as he navigated the sizable swells with confidence and got us out to our fist spot quickly.  Our mate Jason set our lines using a variety of depths and bait.  This was good as the bottom fish were biting that day and we pulled in quite a few yellowtails, a really big mutton snapper (see photo), sea mackerel, and quite a few other keepers.  While we didn’t hook up with any game fish we were impressed by the team’s expertise and determination.  We hit 3 or 4 different spots before heading back home at the end of the charter. 

Cap’t Arek filleted and cleaned all of the fish and prepared a bag of fish for dinner that night and a much larger bag for us to pack in ice to take home.  Speaking of dinner that night - Arek sent us to Lazy Day’s restaurant down the road and they prepared a massive feast for my wife and me.  When the platter showed up we knew no matter how much we ate we would hardly put a dent in it.  The bartender offered what was left to others at the bar and we ended up feeding the entire bar that night.

Overall, we highly recommend Fishin’Pole Sportfishing.  The captain and crew were very professional, had a good sense of humor, were well seasoned in fishing and navigating the area and went above and beyond from a service perspective.
