This was the best fishing trip and the best way to celebrate my 50th!! Very friendly and professional crew. They were experienced and knowledgeable about all things fishing. Health and safety was prioritised and we were all looked after. Highly recommended 👌

The sea was not ideal, but still got a really good feed of fish and crayfish. The sea was rough and we were possibly the only boat out fishing. We were kept up to date with the condition of the sea throughout the charter and felt safe all the way. I would recommend Kaikoura Fishing Tours, it’s my second trip.

Big thanks to Thomo and Shane. Challenging conditions led to some sea sick fishermen who were kindly returned to shore then back out to fish with only 3 sturdy customers remaining. Caught plenty of fish and pulled two loaded cray pots. Great trip with great people.

First up stop to empty the cray pots. Then put into the increasing sea where not much action so off to a much better spot where numerous gurnard were hauled in along with a few cod and the dog fish. Suspect some enjoyed trip more than others going by a couple of off color faces
