Dont get much better than the day we had!! we had certain requests on how we wanted to fish and Capt Doug accommodated all our requests. 4 of us on boat, over 50 bass caught in full day trip!!! Boat would easily fit 6 comfortably. Capt was by himself for trip and was a very busy man!!! He was awesome and super knowledgeable. We are four experienced fisherman and still learned alot from him. If your looking for a busy trip catching take this charter you will not be disappointed!!

Fun-tastic and fantastic…Captain Doug knows these waters and where to find the fish. In fact, he even helped other fishing boats to locate fish when our arms were too worn out from pulling in striped bass. Really, if you’re looking to book a trip consider Captain Doug. You’ll won’t be disappointed.

My wife and I lost count of how many stripers we had landed before our 4 hour charter was over. Captain Doug casually mentioned that the spot we were on is most productive when the outgoing tide picks up, which it hadn’t yet. It can’t get better than this, I thought to myself. I was wrong. The frequency of hookups might not have increased in the second half of our trip, but it definitely didn’t slow down either. The fish got bigger though. Then a great white shark took half of what we thought would be the biggest catch of the day. ‘Ol doll eyes broke the surface about 10 feet from the boat and sheered off the better part of our fish right behind its pectoral fins before pivoting on its tail and taking another swipe. Before we could fully calm down from the rush of the shark attack we landed a 40 inch slob. Captain Doug had been calling his shots all day and his final trick was calling a double for our last hookups of the day. All of this happened as a fleet of other boats came and went from the spot, frustrated by watching us hook up on almost every pass while their rods stayed straight. Captain Doug doesn’t fish. He catches.

I had a very memorable fishing experience yesterday which will bring me back in the future. Capt Doug was very personable. He had an unlimited amount of knowledgeable about fishing and the area. Many great stories. Answered all my questions, which were many. From biggest, most and strangest fish every caught etc. In just a four hour fishing trip i felt like i was fishing with an old friend of many years.
He put us on the fish which i will have many of pictures and stories to share with family and friends when I return home. i would recommend capt Doug for anyone living in or visiting the area. You won’t regret it.

We had an incredible trip on the Jennifer Ann! Captain Doug knew exactly where to go—we caught a ton of striped bass and bluefish. The action was nonstop! Anton was a great mate—super friendly, organized, and always ready to help with gear, bait, and anything else we needed. The boat was clean and comfortable, and the whole experience felt professional and fun. Couldn’t have asked for a better day. Highly recommend this charter and can’t wait to go again!
