My family & I had a great time with Captain Guion.
Due to crazy winds & HOT temps, we had to adjust or trip from the scheduled day to the next.
It was a great time and my kids first “real” fishing!
My wife was a trooper as she battled some lotion sickness. But she overcame it!
Captain Guion was great with kids & very patient with all of us.
Conditions weren’t ideal but we chased them as best we could. That’s why it’s called fishing & not catching!!!
We even got in some good conversation about duck hunting!
We are blessed to have had the opportunity & are thankful for our time out with Green Creek- Cape Fear.
We will consider doing it again when we come back to this area.

Captain Guion was outstanding! We had a fantastic time for our first fishing trip.It was my son’s birthday- he had turned 7- and Captain Guion made him feel like a king. We had such a great time learning to fish and although the fish were doing a good job of hiding from us, Captain Guion’s amazing attitude, encouragement and stories kept us all entertained and engaged! Our kids talked about the trip all evening afterwards and want to come back again. They’re talking about going out fishing now we’re back in Chicago (although I don’t think I can actually BUY a boat!). When we are next in the Cape Fear region we’ll be sure to go out again with such a great Captain. I would highly recommend him for any trip, especially with kids.

Captain Guion arrived Fired Up and Reafy to hit the water! His outstanding personality made the kids and I super comfortable. The entire trip Captain Guion was knowledgeable about the history of the areas he took us to and it felt like he had X-Ray vision when it comes to seeing the school of fish. The boys had an amazing time. It was our first time on a boat as well as fishing and by the end of the trip (Right before my son fell off the boat), we thought we were pro fishers. When my son fell off the boat (which was no fault of the Captain) Captain Guion made sure he was safe, had dry clothes, and most of all still had a Great Time. Captain Guion is great with kids as well as first timers. We will definitely book again! Thanks Capt!

We had an amazing time. Captain G was great with our two boys, ages 9&11. He brought us out to 3 different spots and they caught at least 7 fish each. The overall experience was better than we had expected and captain G went above and beyond to ensure our kids had a great first time fishing experience. Highly recommend and will return next year.

Captain Guion was a super nice guy. My friends and I planned this trip last minute and we were just looking to have a good time. We were originally booked for a 6hr offshore fish but the seas we’re not permitting. Captain Guion made the informed decision to troll along the coast for a couple hours then switched up to bottom fishing. Unfortunately the fish we were looking for weren’t hungry enough so we didn’t get to see too much action. Though we didn’t catch many fish, we got to see a beautiful sunrise, a couple dolphins, a sea turtle, pelicans and plenty of sea gulls. That was enough for us.

Every day is a good fishing day, just to be out on the water. Thank you so much Captain Guion!
