Had a good day on an afternoon 5 hour trip with Captain Matt with family of four. He was very personable and good with the teenagers on board teaching them the techniques of bottom fishing. We were put on fish and moved to different spots to catch different species. He was accommodating to our music taste and shared some of his favorites as he’s a former musician! We had a great experience and will book future trips when we come back.

We opted for the 5 hour morning charter. Captain Jared was AMAZING. We were on fish within minutes and stayed on them most of the day. I would highly recommend 850 Charters (and Captain Jared) to anyone looking to have a great day on the water catching fish.

Captain Jared was awesome! Put us on fish the very first cast, and worked his tail off the entire trip to ensure we were setup for a safe, fun and successful time on the water. Highly recommend!

Matt knows how to put you on the fish. I went on two charters with him this past week and had great success both times. We crushed the Spanish mackerel and vermillion snapper. On top of a great fishing experience Matt is also a great guy and willing to educate, answer questions and just chat about whatever. Definitely a charter worth taking if you are in the Destin area and want a great experience.

I discussed prior to the trip with Cpt Matt that this trip was solely for my boys. My only goal was to make sure they had a good time. Matt was very patient with my 9 yr old and had both boys on fish from the jump. They have told everyone in Destin that will listen today, how they got every fish out of the ocean on a professional fishing boat. Matt can’t thank you enough. See ya next year!
