My sons, step-sons, nephew, and myself really enjoyed Captain Ethan’s half day trip.  We caught several bluefish and had a great day out.  Captain Ethan suggested we look for a shark toward the end of our trip per request of my pre-teen sons.  Unfortunately, I was the only one who developed significant sea-sickness for the majority of the trip, despite using a scopolamine patch 4 hours prior to departure.  We will be back, because despite my illness, all other sailors had a wonderful time.  I’m going to use Zofran ODT and or phenergan ( which can be a little sedating), in addition to the Scopalamine patches next year.  I think that will be the best way to stave off seasickness and I recommend this combination based on experience and medical training.  Please talk to your PCP regarding these meds.  I am also impressed at how well Captain Ethan did with the 20-somethings in our group as well as my 9 and11 year old sons.It turns out that Ethan is a high school teacher, and is obviously very easily able to relate to these age groups.  He is very informative, educational, and uplifting to even the novice fisherman. I recommend his service without reservation.  You will be pleased.

This has been on my list for a while. Could not have ask for anything more. We caught steady fish. Puppy drum, blues, and a hungry black fin. Tried to scare up some Spanish but they were scarce this morning. Captain was a lot of fun and kept the boat on the fish-no easy task this morning. Equipment was perfect. Great light tackle for the blues and larger gear for the drum and shark. Sorry I didn’t get a good shot of the black fin looks more like a thumb😎. Will definitely book with Seas the Day again maybe even this week if things work out. Awesome day. We had a blast! Thanks Capt. Ethan.

Fantastic afternoon with Captain Ethan! He was exceptionally patient and kind to our young kiddos and also extremely knowledgeable captain. We caught numerous fish in between great conversation! The icing on the cake was watching a big pod of dolphins swimming by. A perfect day and we will absolutely fish with Seas the Day again if we are back in the area!

We had a great time with Captain Ethan. He was very knowledgable about the area and even took us to a spot where he had seen sharks earlier in the day. We caught the shark and spent a good amount of time reeling it in and then it got off as we were trying to get it in the boat.

I had three young boys with me and Ethan made it a fun experience for them. The fishing later in the afternoon was a bit slower but everyone was still able to spend some time reeling in fish.

Weather delayed us and probably changed fishing conditions. But Ethan switched locations frequently and tactics. Best part of trip was that our 12 and 14 yr old grandsons both caught a keeper red drum. All had fun and enjoyed our day on water. Ethan makes your trip fun even if weather and fish done cooperate.
