My 6 year old daughter and I experienced our first charter fishing trip and we could not have had a better experience! We caught a bunch of fish, (everyone caught limits) the crew was absolutely excellent with myself and my very curious, interactive and busy 6 year old daughter which wanted to take part in every aspect of the boat and the fishing. Captain David constantly educated us and more importantly went above and beyond to specifically invite my daughter to try all the new things that she was clearly interested in learning. We will more than likely make this a regular thing. 100% recommend.

We caught so many fish within the first hour. Captain took us to a spot that didn’t disappoint. The crew was amazing. Very helpful and even gave us some historical facts of monuments near by. Captain and First mate were extremely friendly and funny. Both did the impossible to have kept us comfortable and happy. It was an amazing unforgettable memory. Thank you for everything.

We caught fish on our trip, but not as many as we originally hoped. Nonetheless, it was a great day on the water and the few fish we did catch were from a variety of species. We got to learn about a “shovel nosed guitar fish”.  We saw bat rays, leopard sharks and 7 gill sharks up close.

The captain and crew member were friendly and accommodating and the boat was clean and well maintained.

Our group of 3 had a blast on The Warrior Poet with Captain King and first mate Neil!  Awesome guys, they were very welcoming and got us on our target fish right away.  They gave expert guidance on how to get on the hook and in the boat!  We all caught some very nice flounders while talking in all the beautiful sights around the Bay - The Golden Gate, Alcatraz, Bay Bridge, Treasure Island and SF City skyline.  I’m looking forward to taking my boys out on The Warrior Poet in my next visit!  Book here, you’ll have a great fishing experience.
