Fishing is exactly that fishing, not catching. Even on a full-day trip with an experienced captain, bites are never guaranteed. Conditions change daily, and decisions regarding spots, bait, and techniques are based on years of local knowledge and safety considerations, not guesswork or guest pressure.

Captain has been fishing these waters professionally for many years and has safely taken hundreds of clients offshore. Changing locations or running aggressively into heavy seas is not always responsible or safe, regardless of a guest’s expectations. Safety will always come before comfort or ego.

Regarding the boat: this is a purpose built fishing vessel, not a luxury cruise ship. Offshore fishing boats are designed for function and seaworthiness, and yes, they can be wet rides depending on conditions. Guests are asked to remain seated while underway for their own safety this is standard maritime practice, not a personal restriction.

As for electronics and radio use, communication with other captains is a normal and essential part of offshore fishing. Sharing real time information improves decision making and safety on the water.

Food and snacks are provided as a courtesy, not the focus of the trip. Many guests appreciate the fresh fruit and simple lunch, but preferences vary and we encourage guests with specific expectations to bring their own items.

Finally, personal insults and aggressive language do not reflect the reality of Captain reputation or experience. The vast majority of our guests leave satisfied and understand that fishing requires patience, respect for the ocean, and realistic expectations.
