Can’t speak highly enough of skipper Dean Robin. He took me ( intermediate/ accomplished blank day achiever)and my two sons (novices/ fishing virgins) out from Ucluelet. I’d been building up 30 years to this trip in BC and although we didn’t manage to bag a Chinook, the experience was out of this world. Lingcod and Rockfish were the order of the day, plus a host of breathtaking views. Knock this off your bucketlist and book with Dean!

Captain Dean is a sure bet. He is very professional, well equipped (cool boat), very kind, easy and no fuss, super experienced (he knows exactly where and when to fish). Our experience today was unforgettable. My 10 year old son and me caught 9 BIG fish in a few hours: 3 Chinook salmon, 2 Coho Salmon, 2 Red Snapper, 2 Rock cod. Fantastic !!! Dean was the best guide we could have asked for! He was so friendly and knowledgeable. We were just hoping to catch a single fish and have a fun day on the water and the two of us nearly reached out limit on every fish we could have caught. He taught us what we needed to know and the fish followed shortly. He was really accommodating and even showed us where we could see some whales.
