We booked for 4 hours and there was 6 of us and he was expecting 4 people so there was some times when he couldn’t keep up with everyone. But we had some sharks cutting our line so it’s not his fault. We had a 7 year old that did not enjoy the fishing at all. He is just a little to small for the rod and reels and especially the size of the fish. But overall the big kids loved it and I would recommend it. Captain Garrett took good care of us and put us on fish.

Our Captain was amazing and we caught a lot of fish when we went out. He took care of the kids and made sure they reeled in their catches. We had a bountiful day. The captain also filleted our fish so we could take it home. We’d never fished in salt water or did trolling but it was great!

Captain Josh is a great guy. Seemed very knowledgeable about where the fish have been in the past, even though we didn’t get to hook up with anything but baitfish and 1 remora. Josh had boat trouble with his fist boat, blowing a coolant line, so he didn’t show up until 8:30. Then we had to take the other boat to a fuel dock to fuel it up. He ran the charter a little longer t make up for the time wasted. We caught him about 6 or 8 sand perch, several sand eels, 1 tiny flounder for bait and a decent sized remora. We went after some jacks but there was a dolphin in the area so they were hugging the bottom. No love there. Captain Josh had some vermillion snapper from a previous commercial trip and he gave us six of those so that we could have dinner! I understand that things were out of Josh’s control. I would fish with him again and see if we can change our luck!
