Captain Jason, Collin and Chase are the best! From the time we got on the boat till tye time we got off the boat it was a blast. Fishing was awesome, managed to pull in some rock fish and a couple of sharks, one being about a 4’ Manko
Our group couldnt have asked for a better day we would highly recommend Captain Jason and his crew. We will definitely come back and fish with Captain Jason again!

Jason and Rick made this an awsome day of fishing. My son and I caught the limit of Rockfish. Mark caught a Shark which was super exciting. I booked this trip months in advance , with Jason always responding to any questions I had until the day of. We will make sure to book with them agsin next year!

We had a really good time with Captain Jason and Colin!  They were so considerate of our abilities and especially the kids. They were kids faces really light up when they brought in their fish. Captain Jason took tons of pics and sent them to me to share with the family. Thank you for a fun evening!

Great time on Fish Taxi with Capt. Jason and Mate Joseph. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with a passion for fishing. Boat was comfortable and spacious. We caught 6 different species (rock bass, calico bass, sculpin, mackerel, sheepshead, and barracuda) and enough keepers of the former 3 species to make a large batch of ceviche for a lunch later that afternoon.

This 3 hr trip is perfect for beginners and families looking to get out on the water without having to commit an entire day. A short beautiful boat ride from the marina to fishing grounds meant little down time and mostly fishing during those 3 hours. Through no fault of the Captain, I had mixed up the departure time and showed up 45 min late to the boat. But even with an afternoon charter planned, the Captain cut his own midday break time short and still honored the full 3hrs which was greatly appreciated. Please note that the departure time may possibly vary to what is posted on this site due to fishing conditions. The Captain knew there was an early bite and notified me immediately when I booked that we would be leaving earlier than posted. It was my fault for not reading the text entirely. Once again, the Captain was putting full effort in providing the highest possible chances for success, which we found.

I will definitely be taking the family on this trip next time we are in Oceanside, and you should too.

We had a great time on our twilight troll.  Captain Jason told us he would get us on fish.  He delivered.  We caught sand bass, calico bass, sculpins, whitefish, rock fish, flounder, mackerel, and Spanish mackerel. We walked away with a huge bag of fillets.  Crew was super helpful and polite answered all our questions even if they may have seemed dumb. As Coloradans we don’t know much about sea fishing but they we all kind and patient with us.  I would definitely book again.  The joy of finding and catching was evident on all the crew. They seem to love what they are doing and it comes through in the experience we had.  Thank you to Jason, RJ, and Drake.
