Justin after reading your review and speaking with Casey I can say the fishing with two rods was the correct call for the conditions. The water in the Florida Keys can be very clear at times and the fish can spook easily. I have been fishing here for over 20 years and have used 1 rod at times. If the group fishing all get along and are willing to take turns at times your catch can be much higher than fishing like in a lake. Your comments on the condition of the Pontoon are laughable. I do agree the cushions need to be replaced and are on order which are way behind schedule. The most important aspects of a boat is who is operating it for you and your family’s safety. The engine as well and the pontoons that keep you afloat. Those three aspects are perfect and we have plenty of proof of service and inspection to back this up. The fact that you mention a hurricane which even a visitor knows is our biggest fear here in the Florida Keys. Many of us have been through these storms and lost everything and rebuilt however lost irreecplacable items speak in volumes to me. I can promise you there is plenty of budget to replace a cushion. I stand with Captain Casey and as for anyone who reads the over 100 5 star reviews involving family outings with her. Take care and I am happy you are able to make memories with your family and may your next Charter be everything you hope for including plush amenities, countless lines in the water and a Captain that has zero boundaries for safety and a successful trip.
