This was my second outing with Captain Craig and the Emerald C crew.  Weather (wind) forced us to fish the west end where Capt said he hadn’t been in a while so we spent a lot of time literally hunting down fish. Also, we could only keep Vermillion snapper. Those things combined meant we didn’t bring many home. But we booted some great fun fighters like amber jack, red snapper, triggers. Had an absolute blast.
Craig and Chance, and really the while Emerald C operation, is really top notch. They know their stuff, have great equipment, awesome boats and are genuinely great folks 100% dedicated to making sure you have a great experience whether you are catching a boatload or just a few.
If you are in the GS/OB, Perdido or Pensacola area, add a charter with Emerald C. It will undoubtedly be the highlight of your trip.

Took the wife and kids (teenage boys) for an offshore Red Snapper trip and had a great time. Gavin and Evan were amazing, we never even had to touch the bait or the fish because they were always right there taking care of everything while we got to have all the fun!  Seas were a little rough so BYOD (bring your own Dramamine) but still caught enough that they could fillet them out and we could carry them right over the bridge to the Deep Blue Sea food truck for some amazing fish tacos!  A day well spent! Hoping to do it again soon (after we work to develop our sea legs a bit)

This was my second time booking Emerald “C”. This time around, we fished with Captain Gavin and Captain Garrett. These two guys do not play around when it comes to fishing! They have mastered several different fishing techniques and know how to track down the fish. We had to go offshore a bit to snag them as inshore fishing isn’t the greatest this time of year. They put us right on top of Red Snapper and they were biting immediately. Gavin and Garrett are also great at explaining what the fish are doing and why we are fishing with certain techniques. Emerald “C” is lucky to have two great guys like this on the team! The wife and I will book with Emerald “C” again the next time we are in the Gulf Shores area. Hopefully we can snag Captain Gavin or Captain Garrett again! Thanks guys!

This was our first deep sea fishing trip. We had a lot of questions and uncertaintys. Captain Craig responded any time I had a question before the trip.  We actually had a 1 pm appt and he asked if we would like to come at 7 am that we may catch more.  I’m so glad he did ! The captains were so helpful with fishing questions and baiting hooks for everyone as well as helping to get the fish in and explaining why each fish was ! We went to several locations to find the best possible catches.  We even fed a dolphin one of our catches from the side of charter. The captains cleaned our fish and we went home and made some fish tacos! I highly recommend Emerald C charters and we hope to make this a yearly tradition!

fishing was a little slow but the captain was determined to find fish. We moved around and finally found a few.  had a great e and would recommend this trip to others.  We did the dock light trip in the evening.
