Had our first trip out to Douglas Lake and had the honor of going out with Captain Mountain. He was so knowledgeable about the fishing patterns and species we might see. He seemed to have extensive local experience and strong teaching skills. He provided all of the equipment we needed to provide a fun and safe experience. Most of all, he was patient with me - a complete amateur. I would definitely recommend Captain Mountain to anyone coming out to the area!

Nathan was very calm in all situations even when fish were slow to bite, but he stayed persistent and found fish in several areas. Got us on the smallmouth we were hoping for and ended up catching quite a few fish. Enjoyed the trip.

We had a great time with Captain Nathan. He knew where to go and what to try for the fish depending on how they felt that day. As with all fishing trips much of the success is between the captain and the mood of the fish. Nathan was able to ;zero in on their location and mood quickly. He is a great guy and we had a blast catching fish and hanging out with him.
