15 BULL REDS!!! That’s what Captain Jay helped my husband and I reel in on our first fishing trip down to Venice. This was hands down one of our most fun days of fishing we have ever experienced! Captain Jay will make you feel so welcome from the start; he makes you feel like you’re out just fishing with a good buddy. Leading up to the trip, he was very quick to respond to any questions we had. He’s super knowledgable about the area and knows how to keep you busy reeling in fish all day long. As soon as we got back to the dock, my husband and I were already talking about when we could make a trip back down to Venice to fish with Captain Jay again. Just an absolutely incredible time!

Capt Jay Winters put us on the fish despite extremely windy conditions. We caught our limit on redfish and also threw back 2 that were 33 in long and too big to keep. Great trip and can’t say enough good things about Capt Jay.
I live in the high desert of New Mexico and my son lives in Salt Lake city, which also is in a high altitude desert city. Both of us are well traveled but have not experienced the Bayou fishing. Captain Jay Winters took care of us and made us fans of southern hospitality and great fishing. I can’t express our fantastic experience with Captain Jay Winters and catching Red Fish. We’ll be back!!

Captain Jay put us on em! We had a very good day when some others struggled to catch em. We loaded the boat with Reds,(even some bull Reds) Flounder, Sheephead and many other species. 5 star expeience. Thanks Captain Jay
