Trip planing started a week before and smoke was very quick to respond to all my questions and logistics inquiries.

Day of trip (8/12/21) arrives at 6:30 and we were on ester immediately (2 people). Mike was ready to roll and went their all the details of the boat and fishing.

On the water, we didn’t have all the success we hoped but it was a super fun day. Mike went the extra mile and our trip was longer than we expected as he strives to put us on more fish.

Start to finish this was a good day. I’ll most definitely give him a call for my next adventure.

We had such a blast on our yearly family trip with Captain Mike!  He is absolutely the best of the best.  Like the description says, this trip isn’t for the faint of heart.  It’s a full days grind, but if you ca stick it out, the rewards are astonishing.  From my family, Thank you again Captain Mike!  See you again next year!!!

I highly recommend Captain Mike for your fishing trip out of Port A. He really knows the area and what to do in every situation. This was the first time I have fished with him. I knew we went with the right captain when we were cleaning fish at the end of the day, as other boats came by and the people were asking “where did you fish?”
His boat is awesome and is fully equipped and stocked for every skill level. He is very patient to explain his gear and boat equipment in every way. I’ll be booking again with Cap’n Mike real soon. So don’t anyone take my spot. He deserves to be an anglers choice captain on fishing booker. So please make it happen.

Was a first time offshore trip for the 4 of us. Boat was up to date with all the electronics and safety equipment to put our minds at ease. We knew the sea was going to be rough due to weather so when we got out there the captain changed up the game plan on fishing spot to keep us all safe in the very choppy waters. He put us on some nice kingfish right away that put up a good fight. My son fought 2 huge fish that put up a fight to remember that made it all worth it. Captain was on top of everything and made our Father’s Day trip a trip to remember. At the end my dad hooked up to a 50lb plus crevalle jack that we lost at the boat that got us anxious for the next trip😂

About a week before the scheduled trip Captain Mike began contacting me giving updates on the upcoming weather. The sea conditions took a turn for the worse the day before the trip. He said we could get out. But it was goi g to be a rough go. Me and the boys said we wanted to go. So we told Mike we would be there. All I can say is next time? If he tells me it’s going to be rough? I’m going to listen and reschedule.
  Mike was great. He tried hard to get us on the fish. But the weather didn’t Cooperate. I would go out with him again. But I will listen to what he has to say .
