The four of us spent a wonderful afternoon on the lake fishing, learning about the area and talking to the captain.  We heard about the history of the Lake Taupo and its fish, and the region in general.  WE had a great trout dinner to top the day off.

what can i sat excellent 3 hour trip with a very experienced captain lots of history of the lake and surrounding topography . managed to catch 3 rainbow trout very happy will book again when i return 😀

Miserable gloomy day - caught 2 fish. Captain tried everything to try to catch more. Wasnt to be - but great day and good memories made with family. Second trip on this boat - will bookagain.

Really well equipped boat; congenial & very knowledgeable Captain Richard.  Caught lots of rainbow trout.  nothing huge, but several would easily feed our party of two
