Hoyt was great.  we stayed at Venture Out and he piched us up at the fuel dock in the morning.  we caught several species of snapper, a couple small shark and a toad fish.  He was great to the family.  We caught plenty of fish to bring some home to cook up.  Great family experience.

My husband and I have Gone on several fishing trips and Hoyte is probably one of our favorites! Knows all about the fish, took us to a spot we never had to leave because the fish were biting. All around very accommodating and personable! Highly recommend for making great memories!

Captain Hoyt put me on the snappers. Kept enough for dinner and released all the rest. He asked if I wanted to catch a shark and within 5 minutes we had a 7 1/2 footer hooked. What a fight and what a great day! Definitely be booking him again.

Captain Hoyt was awesome! What a great guy. He really went above and beyond for our group and made our trip a great memory! Reelin’ em in nonstop, can’t ask for anything better than that. Also good tip with the fish tacos, 10 out of 10.

Captain Hoyt was so knowledgeable about all things fishing in the lower Keys area, but also gave a ton of other information about the history of the different islands. He was so patient and encouraging as we got the “hang” of catching our target species. Fun and laid back. We’ll for sure book with A Sandbar Somewhere again!!
