Took 6 yr old grandson for 2 hours and it was great. Captain Daniel had all the fishing gear, warming shack and ATV to transport us across the ice. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and experienced and it put us at ease.  It was slow at first, but fishing in good weather with warm shack was still fishing!  When the fish finally started biting, it was all at once and we were not disappointed! We had nonstop opportunities to chase our target species, and the action never really let up. Even better were the surprise fights—hooking into bullhead, largemouth, and a northern pike on light panfish gear made every moment exciting. Picked up some great techniques from Captain Dan, who was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Already looking forward to the next trip.

We had an amazing time with Daniel! He knew exactly where to go to catch good fish and make the day a lot of fun. Both of us caught our first northern pike! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to have fun on the lake and catch big fish!

Daniel was a wonderful captain and guide with much knowledge of fishing. It was our first time ice fishing and we had a great experience! Daniel was kind and helpful, ensuring that we got some great catches and our biggest catch yet! We will be back to Delavan Lake to book a fishing trip again with captain Daniel!
