You are 100% correct. We cannot take 6 adults and 6 rolling large coolers on a 27’ light tackle center console boat. We always send out an info message before every trip. That is why in the message that was sent to you on 8/12 at 3:05 pm says:
“Please no GLASS bottles.  Also, large coolers to take fish home can stay in your vehicle. We have a cooler on the boat for any drinks or snacks you wish to bring. A small soft sided cooler is great.”
Time spent with a rod and reel in your hand fishing is important to all our clients and you stated that there was a loss of that time in our conversation.
As a licensed USCG captain we are required to review all the safety equipment and procedures before we leave the dock and that takes a few minutes. But, getting all the coolers back in the vehicles delayed the launch. Glad it only took about 15 minutes and you all could get underway.
The trip you booked was a 4-hour charter and ended at 12pm. It is the industry standard that we are back at the dock at that time and not to stop fishing 10-15 miles away from the dock and depending on the speed the boat can travel 30 minutes + to get back. We are lucky we have great electronics to tell us exactly how long it will take to get back and a fast boat…so we can stay to the last second catching fish…You were at the ramp the same time I was… 12pm with your fish cleaned and on ice!!!
Also don’t understand the disconnect about there not being a toilet on the boat.
