Had a bit of a rough week weather wise for fishing but Captain Steele was all over it. Called an audible on the fishing location the morning of our trip. After filling the bait wells with one throw of the cast net we headed to the fishing grounds. Within 20 minutes we had our limit of 30-40lb Amberjacks. We were worn out. We could have continued in that spot reeling in (and releasing) many times our limit but elected to go off in search of some other species. Within minutes of reaching the 2nd location we had a mahi on the boat.
Great trip. Captain Steele is a hard working captain who knows his stuff and knows how to read the situation with wind and recent weather to put you on the fish. we had a great time. Thanks Captain Steele!

We had a great experience with Captain Steele. We didn’t catch the fish we were hoping for but Captain Steele tried everything. The fish were there but they just wouldn’t bite. I would like to say he was the friendliest captain. We will book him again. just be prepared to have a good time.

Captain Steel was great. Super down to earth and knowledgeable about all think fiahing and not in the Southport area. I took my normally cautious 5 year old for a 2 hour afternoon trip. With very little description of us and specifically my sons fishing experience Captain Steel thoughtfully prepared a game plan for us so that we could do something a little different than we were used to and get a good taste of fishing in the ocean. We caught spanish mackerel, bluefish, and near the end tried some shark fishing and reeled in a 5ft Bull shark. Too large in fact to get into the boat but we got plenty of photos and sent him in his way. It was awsome. We will absolutely be back. Thanks Captain Steel.

We had a fantastic girls trip out on the water with Captain Steele! He knew exactly where to catch the fish and even put us right on top of the shark for our best chance to catch one! The 4 hour trip was perfect and the boat is beautiful! Outstanding outfit- will use Catherine Anne any time we’re in Southport! All details are taken care of, super easy, fun and exciting trip!!

We’ve gone out with Captain Steele twice now and have loved both trips! This year we caught enough Spanish Mackerel for at least 3 meals and we had a blast! We will definitely book again next year!
