We were on a cruise and got going late. The crew did their best to put us on fish despite the late start. The drinks were cold and they cut up fresh fruit for us. They even made fresh guacamole on board. It was a great day and would fish with the again.

We had a blast fishing today with Victor and Crew. We knew it isn’t prime fishing season but wanted to go anyway. We fished for quite awhile before catching anything and then bam…4 barracuda and a beauty of a snapper. We will for sure hire Grand Slam on our next trip to Cozumel!

Our trip started off very rough. We confirmed and were told on two different occasions that we would be picked up at the pier of our hotel at 7am, and had already paid our pier fee. We waited for 1 hour, never heard from them. I finally called through fishing booker and he stated they could not pick us up and we had to take a taxi into town. We did not get on the water until 9:15am after we were supposed to start at 7am. Captain and crew did not warm up until the very end of our fishing trip.

Hi Michaela, We are very sorry for not being able to pick you up at the hotel pier, as I told you on the phone, Port Authorities decided to run inspections to boats that morning; we were unlucky enough to be one of the selected ones; that’s why we were delayed and the reason we asked you to come to the marina so that we could go out fishing as soon as the port authorities allowed us. Your hotel was all the way south of the island and the marina is on the north so it would have taken... Еще

Your hotel was all the way south of the island and the marina is on the north so it would have taken us more time to go pick you up than you coming to us. It was late already.
We did cover the price for the taxi.

The fishing…….we caught a sailfish and over 30 snapper that day, on a shortened trip.
Not a bad day on the water. But I guess it’s all about perspective.

I understand the inconvenience of having to take a taxi and being on the water a bit later than expected, but it was a situation out of our control.

We still worked our hearts off for you to have the best possible day on the water
