This was a wonderful half day out on the Gran Monarca for me and my wife and our two children together with my grown daughter and two gran children. The boat is excellent for going fishing from Fuengirola and the Captain, his colleague and office staff were very friendly and helpful. Pity it was a quiet day for the fish but that’s fishing! We all loved the time spent swimming onshore. The water was fantastically clear and clean!
I took my wife and 3 kids on a trip the boat was fantastic. The captain and crew were also great and accommodating. Unfortunately on a fishing trip which we pay nearly $700 for 4 hours we have an expectation to catch fish. We were told there would be two options if fishing (trolling for large fish) I.e. tuna & marlin as well as bottom fishing for smaller fish which the kids were certainly looking forward to. Instead of bottom fishing however we trolled for 3.5 hours and the kids were not able to catch a fish and we were skunked. It’s the nature of fishing I guess and that’s why it isn’t called catching. We would have however preferred to fish on the bottom so the kids could have actually caught something/anything to enjoy the thrill of reeling a fish in.

We had a great experience
Everything was just perfect. The crew of two are really nice people who made a difference. They were very helpful and friendly. The boat was nice – everything in good order, clean and perfect for 8-10 people. BTW we caught 30 fish…. HIGHLY recommended. We will be back.
