Captain Andrew exceeded our wildest expectations during our fishing trip in Hilton Head Island. From the moment we stepped aboard his boat, his down-to-earth nature and accommodating demeanor made us feel right at home. Our shark fishing experience with him was nothing short of extraordinary. Within minutes of casting our lines, the sharks began to swarm, and they were no ordinary fish—they were giants! Picture this: my wife and daughter locked in a thrilling battle with a colossal 100 lbs+ shark, not once, but simultaneously! It was an exhilarating sight that will forever be etched in our family’s collective memory.

As for me, I had my fair share of adrenaline-pumping action. I managed to reel in two monstrous 100 lbs sharks—one a formidable spinnerhead and the other an impressive Black fin. The fights were intense, testing my strength and determination to the limit. Captain Andrew’s expertise and guidance were instrumental in ensuring that our encounters with these majestic creatures were not only thrilling but also safe.

But Captain Andrew’s mastery of the waters didn’t stop at the giants. He possessed an uncanny ability to pinpoint the perfect spots for us to hook into 20-50 lbs sharks, tailor-made for my daughter’s angling skills. Watching her face light up with joy as she reeled in her first shark is a memory I will forever cherish.

Our experience with Captain Andrew was so exceptional that we’ve already made up our minds—we will be enlisting his services every time we return to Hilton Head. And if you’re looking for an unforgettable fishing adventure, I wholeheartedly recommend you do the same. We really wanted to catch a Tarpon today and we missed. However, our captain Andrew was really invested and wanted us to catch one also. We caught many sharks, black tip, spinners, and bonnethead. He took us to three different locations and we actually saw Tarpon just could not get one hooked. Captain Andrew was knowledgeable and pleasant, and even though we did not get what we wanted, it was still a great day!

Kids and I had a good time, but all we caught was shark, stingray, and one inedible catfish. If your goal is to let the kids have fun catching shark and taking pictures then this is the right trip. If you want to catch edible fish to take home, don’t book this trip in July. Comparing this trip to others I’ve booked in Florida, were we caught bags of fish that we got to bring home, this was not that kind of trip.

Our family went on the morning 4 hour fishing charter.  Captain Andrew took us to a great spot.  We caught tarpon, bluefish, sharks, and a sting ray.  Captain Andrew was absolutely great!  We ended up in a downpour on the way back, but no problem for him.  He
cleaned our fish when we got back.  This fella works hard.  If you are looking for a great fishing charter, this is it!  Book it!  No regrets!
