This was the best fresh water charter I’ve been on.  The boat was immacculate and roomy.  Captain Shawn and first mate were just great.  They got my son, daughter, and two grandsons involved in the trolling process.  My family had a great time plus great fishing results.  I highly recommend Champion Charters, Captain Jim, the owner, knows how to treat his customers.

We had to delay our departure time due to weather conditions but it was the correct move to maximize our experience.  Captain Jim did a great job with communication and coordination.  Best trip to Lake Erie our group has experienced.  We caught our limit on Walleye and Captain Cole was great.

Everything was fantastic except for the fish cleaning and that was not in their control.  They use an outside service that picks the fish up and has it ready in about two hours (however, it was at least an hour before they even picked our fish up).  Having people come from as far away as I do, that doesn’t work for me.  I need the fish cleaned as soon as I get off the boat and within an hour of docking.  I thought for sure that is what these guys did but must have misunderstood.  They get... Had a bit of a slow start (but piced up a couple nice fish)as we chose to cast fish for a while. Switched to trolling and we were set. Caught some nice walleye and a few others and had some Sheephead steal a worm or 2. Captain Ron and first make Dakota were spot on with everything they did, they kept lines locked and loaded ,untangled and kept it fun as well very personable guys to have a good conversation with. May have tossed poor Dakota under the bus when something ended up broken my fault.... Еще
