M’y husband and son went fishing. It was a good expérience. M’y son cath 3 barracudas and my husband cath Also barracudas. There was enough food and drinks. Someday we Côme back.
3rd fishing trip we’ve done in the Cararies - 2 in Tenerife and this one in Gran Canaria. Not so much as a nibble on any of the lines during either Tenerife trip, similar again on this trip with a boat load of lines out and one small fish on the whole boat to show for a 6h trip. As an ex-fisherman I fully appreciate nature is nature and there are no guarantees - but with consistent decent days out on other trips around the world we’re now getting suspicious of the Canaries trips to the point we’ve decided against booking any in future. This is more a reflection of our Canaries experience in general and not a direct reflection of the boat/crew on the day, who were excellent (but at the same time getting paid regardless of whether any fish are caught or not).
Only saying I wouldn’t recommend this as part of a wider lack of recommendation for fishing trips in the Canaries in general. Our experience of them after a few are more ‘expensive boat ride’ rather than ‘fishing trip’.
