Austin was an excellent captain! My husband and son have been deep sea fishing multiple times. This time myself, 2 daughters and my nephew went with them. Turns out, all of us but my husband gets sea sick. Austin never made us feel like an inconvenience and helped all of us any way he could! My husband had a wonderful time fishing. He caught cobia and lots of sea bass. Austin was wonderful about keeping bait on our hooks and made sure to keep us where the fish were biting. We would recommend Austin with Salty Hooker charters a million times over. We will definitely be looking him up again when we’re back in Murrells inlet!

We had six people fishing. The weather was nice but the sea was a little rough. As with any charter there are some things that you just can’t control. What could be controlled was handled extremely well. The equipment was nice and the captain was very helpful. We were all able to catch fish and had a wonderful time. As a group we would recommend this charter for anyone. We plan on booking with them again in the future. We booked a 1/2 day trip but would suggest a full day.
We’ve been on several deep sea fishing excursions and this one beat them all. Thomas was great. We will definitely be back.
Captain Austin and his gear are top notch! He helped us catch an amazing volume and variety of fish using multiple locations and tactics from trolling to jigging the bottom. I’ve never had the pleasure of being taken out by a more energetic, knowledgeable and amicable captain. I hope to take a full day trip on the Salty Jen again when my family and I are back in the area.
