We had an amazing time on our charter with Captain Michael. It started off slow because of the chilly morning weather, but he didn’t let that get in the way of making it a great day. We were originally booked for an 8-hour trip from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, but since the fish didn’t start biting right away, he stayed out with us for an extra two hours—at no extra charge!

Michael was super friendly, cracking jokes, and by midday it honestly felt like I was hanging out with one of my longtime friends. As the weather warmed up, the day turned beautiful, and we ended up hooking three different species of fish—catfish, smallmouth bass, and flathead.

Not only does Michael really know the waters and bring tons of fishing experience, but he’s also a down-to-earth, fun guy to spend the day with. My boys and I had an absolute blast, and I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great fishing experience on all levels.

Michael was a great guide and a great host. He shared his knowledge and expertise which created a unique learning experience. One of the best parts of this experience was that he focused on the type of fish my group wanted to catch. We chose multi species and had a great time catching smallmouth, monster carp, and channel catfish. He knows his stuff and is a great option for a fishing guide. I would highly recommend booking a trip with him.

Michael was more than prepared and was really fun to be around. HE KNOWS HIS STUFF.
He had all bait, rods, reels, and lures galore ready to go.
What I appreciated most was the time he spent helping the boys and me improve our cast and catch techniques. I now feel much more confident. We can’t wait for next experience- with Michael!!
