I had my son and two sons in law with me and had a great experience on the ocean and river system. The conversation with an experienced salty who knows people nearly as well as his fishing knowledge is worth the time on its own. We were aware the conditions were not great but the Skipper worked hard for us. If anyone is thinking about fishing this part of Australia Hooked Up is the perfect family charter to use.

Great morning out with Shawry. Boat set up is awesome.  Took myself and my two teenage kids (13&15) to multiple locations off the coast. At each spot we were pretty much on the fish straight away, if we weren’t, we moved on to the next spot. 20+ fish caught, many different species.  Shawry was great, very knowledgeable. Provided all the gear and did everything for us, great with the kids. Even spotted some dolphins on the way out. Highly recommended. Thanks Shawry and Julie.  We will be back!

Fantastic day on the water, GT, Salmon Mackerel tested the lines, and Coral Trout, and Sweetlips and Tea Leaf Trevally. Captain Shawry has been fishing these waters for years, and it shows…put us on the fish and we were very happy with the day.

The captain was friendly and accommodating, making the trip enjoyable despite the off-and-on rain. My little one was especially excited to catch a fish which made the experience for us, memorable.
