What a fabulous day.

? Saturday 30th – Double Trouble on the Broadwater! ? What a cracking day aboard Wild Thing Fishing Charters with two 5-hour charters hitting the water and putting some quality fish in the esky! The morning and afternoon sessions produced a great mixed bag, highlighted by a solid cobia that put up an awesome fight and some beautiful snapper that kept the rods bending throughout the day. It’s always great to see anglers of all ages getting amongst quality fish and heading home with fresh fillets for the table. The calm conditions and golden winter sunshine made for a perfect day on the water, with plenty of laughs, good company and fish coming over the side. What an epic day unfolded on the water! The crew climbed aboard, and the skipper was met with a bold confession: they'd never landed anything bigger than a dinner plate. The gauntlet was thrown! The challenge was set, and we powered toward one of the skipper's legendary, secret spots. Rods were cast, lines were tense, and then... KRA-POW! A sound like we all dream sbout —#SMACK#—ripped through the air! A reel instantly erupted into a furious, high-pitched scream. Was it a terrifying shark? A powerful Cobia? No... it was a MONSTER MULLOWAY, and he was ready for a brutal, back-breaking fight! The reel wailed, protesting every inch of line taken, but the boys were fueled by adrenaline. This was no ordinary catch—this was reeling in a sweet dream fish as the very first hook-up of the day! But the action didn't stop there. After hauling in a mixed bounty including tough Tuskfish and lurking Flathead, the next ultimate prize made its move. The second major dream fish of the trip slammed the line—a formidable Cobia—battling with savage intensity, determined to win the deep-sea war! It's safe to say these anglers didn't just win a few skirmishes; they won the entire campaign! They now head home not just with a haul, but with legendary tales and incredible, ocean-soaked memories that will last a lifetime.
