What would you recommend to anglers fishing in Essex, Massachusetts for the first time?

Ted is the best most accommodating captain I have ever been with. But the time he took to talk with my boys was over and above. His knowledge of the history of the place was like having a private tour guide. Can't recommend him enough.

Follow the Captain's information closely as to the fish you are going to target in order to manage your expectations. Unfortunately we didn't get the opportunity to pull lobster pots as expected.
