Conditions were far from perfect. Cold morning,  windy, and had a lot of cold rain coming off of a cold front last night. The Captain Allen was awesome. His boat was awesome. The gear worked perfectly. Even with the not so great conditions,  Allen put us on some Reddrum and Blackdrum. The wife and I had a blast. Going back out with him next time I get a chance.

I thought Capt. Allen went above and beyond his job in getting us on fish. Fish had lock jaw all morning, could not find a bite anywhere, we were about ready to pack it in. Then he asked us if we needed to go in, we said no, and he took us to another spot and we caught fish. I would highly recommend him.

Bite was slow but captain managed to put us on a few and was accommodating with time. Thanks!

Captain Allen was very nice to us right from the start and very accommodating. His SCM boat rode and handled the water great. Allen was able to put us on redfish right away. We honestly lost track of the number of redfish we caught today. A few times we had large schools of redfish swim right up and around us. And they were still willing to bite on our spoons -one cast after the next. We caught the bonus shark on a spoon at the end of the day. Beautiful scenery all around. You can tell that Allen has been on this water his whole life and he was able pass on some knowledge of how to spot the fish and approach them etc. I can’t wait until the next time. The fishing tackle was also top notch and smooth to use.
