It's been a rough couple of weeks on the south side of Cape Cod with high winds and some rough seas. Unfortunately, we had to cancel some trips due to the wind and sea conditions but the rest of the trips have been outstanding. Unlike the Bay, thankfully, the stripers are still plentiful out in the rips of Monomoy if you know where to look. We've come home with a full box every time. Thank you, God! The fish are big, fighting, and fat, especially the Bluefish. The Albies are starting to move in as well so we're still in for a lot of great fishing on the south side of Cape Cod. We've had another great week of fishing aboard St. Pete. The weather kept us off the water on Monday but the rest of the week was awesome. So many great trips, so many wonderful customers and new friends. We had a mixed bag of 4-hour and 6-hour extended day trips. The Monomoy rips continued to hold the fish but the big ones are definitely staying close to the bottom. We were finding a decent amount of Bluefish up near the surface along with some smaller schoolies. The fishing has been second to none on the south side of Cape Cod. We're hoping that it lasts through the dog days of summer coming up in August.

Another great trip out in the rips of Monomoy yesterday with Erik Z. and his family from Missouri. We landed a lot of throwback Stripers over the legal limit of 35" including this 40" giant landed by 9-year-old Logan. I bet everyone slept well last night!

The winds have been playing havoc on some of our trips but we're still getting out on the water when it's safe to go. Between the wind and the fog, it's been more difficult but the crew of St. Pete is still getting it done. There is still plenty of fish to be had in the rips off of Monomoy. Big Striped Bass with a few Black Sea Bass and Blues in the mix. Our 6-hour extended day trip is still our most popular trip but we're booking plenty of half-day trips too.

It's been another great week on the South Side of Cape Cod this week aboard St. Pete. We're starting to see the fish migrating more to the east. Handkerchief Shoals is slowing down as of the end of the week but there were plenty of slobs waiting around the corner at Bearse and Stonehorse Shoals. Early summer is the best fishing on Cape Cod. Once the waters warm up the fish will migrate more to deeper waters so don't wait. Come out with us now.
