Expected a big bit, was a smaller fishing boat. We caught fish as soon as we put our poles in! Captain Marcus had some great fishing spots. We aren’t experienced fishers at all! But he was a great teacher and we enjoyed th experience!

We had a great time fishing with Captain Marcus. He is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. He will work hard to put you on fish. My wife and I will be planning another trip to this area and Marcus will for sure be our fishing guide.

There was no live bait. Its difficult to catch fish without bait. There is apparantly a dearth in live bait right now in coastal mississippi. Had i known there was no bait in advance i probably would have canceled. The captain and equipment were great and my 3 year old daughter had a blast, so its all good. We caught some croakers, 2 redfish, a few drum, a couple catfish - all small fish on the banks using dead shrimp. I should have called ahead to ensure everything was ready so i guess thats on me. I thought this time of year (and the day after full moon) would have equated to good fishing conditions.  Better luck next time.
