I did a half-day solo trip with Aaron over the Christmas holiday looking to catch fish to eat. It was a great trip. Aaron knows his stuff inside and out and is easy going and a good conversationalist. We were on sheepshead on the jetties all day, caught quite a few fish including five big keepers (that were incredibly tasty), and probably had twenty more bites or fish that got off the line. It was a great day, and I’ll definitely be using Grace Charters again.

Not for sure where to start. We booked the 7 hour trip. I have so many positive things to say about Aaron. This guy truly enjoys what he does. He never stopped working and put us on the fish non stop. Constantly kept the conversation going and interesting. Gave us great pointers on what to do and was very knowledgeable about the wildlife. Heck we even got into a conversation about the many different ways a deck of cards could be shuffled! Ask him about it and I guarantee you’ll go home and google it. He also kept my son(15) very engaged, which is pretty hard to do since he’s a very quiet kid. I’ll definitely be scheduling more trips with Aaron. Thank you for such an awesome day!

Capt. Aaron Grace was a perfect host. From being flexible with our start time due to weather conditions to working as hard as he did to put us on the fish. My wife and two step kids had never been bay fishing so we drove down From Amarillo (originally from Houston) Memorial Day weekend.

The wind that day played a huge factor and seeing and hearing about other boats coming in with little to no success we had to keep our expectations limited.

But Capt Grace managed to do just that. We managed to land a pretty good cooler of sheep’s head, black drum, with a 1 monster black drum and a bull red, which by chance my youngest son (14) caught both.

He worked hard to keep us in fishable conditions and with the water that day it wasn’t easy with whitecaps we were seeing out there.

I would highly recommend Aaron Grace for any party wanting a good experience out in the bay.

A few days before the trip, Aaron gave me a call and said with the strong north wind, and the bad water clarity, he had no hope for the trip. My buddies and I just wanted to go have some fun on the water. As seen in the pictures, we got some big fish in the boat and made the most of our trip! Aaron was very patient, helpful, and resourceful. He continued to show us that he cared about us and our trip and that he wanted to make the best of it and put some fish in the water. Aaron is the best guide I have fished with in Galveston. He treated us like family. Highly recommended. We will be going back to him for now on. Thank you Aaron for putting us on some of the biggest fish of our lives. We had a great time!

Purchased this trip as a Father’s Day trip and it truly did not disappoint. Love hearing all the memories that were made.
