Unfortunately, the choppy ocean water inhibited our offshore fishing experience, but our great captain still found us some awesome inshore honey holes. We had a blast. My 3 boys had a great time too. Having children on board, the 4 hour trip was perfect. I totally recommend Great Daye fishing charters with Captain Tony Nesbitt. He was patient and great at teaching the boys proper casting with the open face reels.

Swells to large to go to far offshore. Captain Tony did everything possible to put us on fish. We trolled for Spanish mackerel, bottom fished an artificial reef for trout, and moved inshore for flounder and redfish. He was very helpful to my son and his friends. We still caught enough for two nights dinner with less than favorable conditions. Thank you Captain Tony.

We had a blast on the water even though it rained the first half of the day and the fish weren’t in the mood to be caught. By the end of the day we managed to catch a few and even take home some flounder. We did run out of crabs for bait but this was mostly because we ended up fishing the bridge longer than expected because of the thunderstorms. Captin Tony was wonderful to fish with and knew the waters well. He made the day fun and I will definitely be booking with him again for future trips!
