Captain Chris Agardy is a true local, born and raised in South Florida. The local waters have been his playground, as he's fished here since he was 4 years old. He's an avid angler, enjoying both the great inshore and offshore fishing the Sunshine State has to offer. Always happy to share his vast fishing experience with his customers, Capt. Chris is happy to teach anyone the tricks of the trade. He's also a successful fishing tournament competitor, competing in and winning many local tournaments. His latest wins were a daily win in the 2018 Silver Sailfish Derby and the 1st place for Wahoo in the 2017 Lake Worth Derby!

We've been seeing the best Mahi mahi run of the year with schools of "gaffer" sized fish migrating about 2 miles off our coastline. Our deep sea charters are able to get you in on the Mahi mahi action on a half day charter! Most these fish have been taken trolling with strip baits that we prepare ourselves.

The wind has been howling and the ocean has been rough, so much of our attention has shifted to inshore waters. The water temperatures have been heating up and the snook have really started to bite good in between the cold fronts. The snook in the picture was caught this morning on a live pilchard back in a residential canal in the Delray Beach area. The snook fishing will only get better as we get further into Spring time. With the March full moon upon us, the wahoo fishing has really started to heat up in front of Boynton Beach Inlet. We have been catching wahoo in the 15-20lb range while trolling with dead baits and artificial lures. The best part about this kind of fishing is that it takes place less than 2 miles from the beach- only 15 minutes after leaving the dock. This time of year is the best time of year to catch these schoolie sized wahoo off our coast. The wahoo in the photo was caught last week during a Southeast wind. It weighed around 15 lbs. It's been a great month (As January usually is) for everything from inshore to offshore. This is the peak time of year to catch sailfish and we are catching them nearly every trip that we go kite fishing with live baits. We have been catching big mahi mahi while waiting for the sailfish bites. The wahoo have been moving through and we are catching them during the tide change while trolling with planers and bonito strip rigs. On the inshore front, lots of snook, bluefish, southern sennet, and jacks have been responding to live and dead baits fished near the channels in the intracoastal waterway.
