This was the first time my kids have been on a boat or fishing on the water. The gulf was a little rough due to some bad weather moving in, but we still managed to catch several triggerfish. Caught a good variety of species including a bonita while we were trolling out to the reef spot.  Due to the rough waters, we came in closer to the rocks on the shore and then my daughter really started having some fun catching fish and helping daddy bait up with live shrimp. We even caught a couple of grouper species right in the rocks.  Overall, it was a great experience and the kids enjoyed their first fishing trip. Thanks Captain Wayne.

Had an amazing time. You can tell Captain Wayne is highly experienced. He had a plethora of poles and offered a variety of bait. If you are an avid fisherman, he lets you be. If you have not so much experience, he is there to bait your hook or just help whenever you say you need help. He doesn’t make you feel silly for not knowing what to do. There were 4 of us and I would say we each were catching a fish every 1-2 minutes! We caught different species that ranged in sizes. Our son caught a 7-8 foot bull shark! Unbelievable and totally unexpected!!
