- My most preferred way of fishing is jigging and drop shotting for smallmouth bass, These fish are super aggressive and are the hardest fighting fish in north america. Even a small fish could make you think you have a giant. I also love trolling for trout and walleye, it covers a ton of water as the fish are suspended throughout the reservoir, and increases your chance of success through multiple rods and covering a lot of water. I prefer using light tackle, this ensures you are able to feel the fish you are fighting and makes it way more fun.
