This was the best part of our vacation and we will definitely be back with this crew! They know what they are doing and you will catch and I mean catch more than your limit 😂 we even seen a few dolphins and a shark at a few spots we fished in and we left and each time Captain put us on a bed of fish!! Highly and I mean Highly recommend this as a must do to the list for anyone on vacation!! Thank you we had a blast and made a ton of memories and loved how friendly and fun the Captain and deck hand Ethan were! They were a big part of making this trip so much fun it was a first for us we did the 6hr next we will do 8 hours from now own it was that much fun!! 10/10 on everything!!

Captain Brent and first mate Harrison are great people for a first time out with family.  We did a four hour afternoon trip, with 8 people, the youngest being in their mid teens. 
A simple call to the number listed got us pointed in the right direction after we arrived at the marina which was less confusing than it appeared at first glance.  With a quick introduction and brief on safety we were on our way.
At no point while we were out did I hear any foul language or adult themed conversations from either of these men if that is something that may concern you.

We didn’t catch a large haul, but all of us are non-experienced fishers and were pretty slow on the reels.  Having said that, the fish were biting plenty, and Harrison was running back and forth pulling fish from lines, baiting hooks, and throwing the non-keepers.  We still caught enough to feed us for two days. Just not enough to box up and fed ex back home to family.

All in all it was a great time.  I got the captains card, and when we visit the area again, I won’t hesitate to call him and book another trip out.  Captain Brent is easy to talk to and seems open to reasonable accommodations and expectations, so if your on the fence, shoot him a message with your questions or fishing concerns and book yourself a trip aboard Southwind!

This is the only boat to charter with. We had a group of 8. Half had never fished.  Capt Tom found plenty of great spots to catch and troll.  Deck Mate Gabby is definitely the hardest working mate in the Gulf. She always had the lines set and fish pulled when needed, and was a great help to the people in our group who hadn’t fished before.  The boat was immaculately clean before, during, and after.  Friendly crew who know how to provide a perfect and productive day of fishing. Will definitely use them again for our next charter.

Took a corporate team on a 4 hour trip. Brett was outstanding and has an outstanding personality. Harrison our 1st mate, was awesome and we had fun. Look forward to taking my family with them in the future.

Took my best man and groomsmen fishing and had a blast. Captain Brett and his deck hand gosh I wish I could remember his name were great.  Although I was a few minutes late no problem both were very friendly, took their time with some of my groomsmen who was their first time fishing ever. The boat was very clean cabin very cold we had to open the door but in this heat who’s complaining, crew was great and we caught our limit in no time. I will be booking again, highly recommend.
