Originally we were scheduled to go out at 2PM, but rain was expected in late afternoon so I contacted Roy and he agreed to meet up a couple hours early. Our group included me, my wife, son (12), and his friend for a 4 hour charter. Being a midwesterner Roy reminded me of myself so we got along great. I was also worried about it being so hot and the fish not biting, Roy told me not to worry it’s not like freshwater - the water still moves so they’ll bit. We caught snook, catfish, mangrove red snapper, and redfish.

Thank you, Captain Roy, for an incredible morning of fishing! Roy is a total expert who had the 3 of us, 2 adults and a 7 year old boy, literally catching a fish every 5 minutes at one point. There was a boat nearby barely catching anything because Roy knew exactly the best spot.

I felt very comfortable on Roy’s boat which he captained expertly. He is also a great conversationalist and storyteller.

We would highly recommend Roy if you want the best of the best for all levels of fishermen (and women!).

We booked a two hour trip with Captain Roy.  The one thing I wasn’t satisfied with was not booking longer.  Roy made it feel like we had known each other for years.  Even with the short time Roy had us on on fish in no time.  My wife didn’t fish but was dolphin spotting and he took the time to get some dolphins to play in the boat wake for her.  We will definitely use him our next trip back and book the longer trip.  Thanks Roy for making great family memories with us.

This trip was one of our best experiences here Florida, if you are a first time fisher Capt Roy makes you feel comfortable Shows you the ropes and builds your confidence as you start to catch loads of fish, if you are a seasoned fisher he puts you on the fish as you would hope. His is the guide you would always hope to get, outstanding day and he is now our fishing guide on every trip south for us. Thanks Capt Roy, see ya in August. Diana still talks about the boat ride with a giggle.

We had an excellent fishing trip with Captain Roy. Finally my son got excited with something other than his computer games. We caught several big fish.
Captain Roy knows his job, is very personable, and goes above and beyond to make his clients happy. Overall, very happy with this experience.
