It was our first time fishing and cooking, and the entire experience was quite rewarding and enjoyable. Captain Alek gave us the chance to chase Mahi before we left, which we agreed, but I was unsure whether Mahi was a viable target for this fishing and cuisine excursion because all of the Mahi we had tasted in the restaurant previously had been poor. The quest for the fish took some time, but it was never boring. Alek is an expert angler, and he showed us how to find the fish by observing the surface and the movements of the seagulls, giving us a true sense of involvement and experience. Of course, with him, you can’t go home empty-handed, so we find the Mahi and one bite after another puts the entire boat are exciting. Alek’s charm did not end there; when he learned that we wanted to have sashimi despite the fact that time was running out, he was still determined to make it happen, and we were moved by his thoughtfulness. In addition, he is an excellent cook. It is the first time that someone’s cooking has made me feel the wonderful taste of Mahi. I definitely recommend taking the entire fishing and cook course.

Me and some friends from Australia went out with Alec. We had such an awesome time. Alec took us out to watch the Memorial Day air and sea show from the water. The experience was unreal. Alec was an absolute legend providing some cooked deep sea grouper which was to die for.

Being from Australia we had never seen anything like the air and sea show and the experience from watching it out on the water was just great. The day has definitely been our favourite day while being over here. Unfortunately the fishing was a bit slow due to strong currents later in the day but that’s just fishing.

Anyone wanting a great experience with someone who makes sure everyone is having fun and enjoying their day I would highly recommend Alec. When we are back in Miami we will definitely be booking another trip.

Alek the Captain was fantastic, we had a family of four with two young children and he was very patient with everyone! The biggest problem with our charter was to pay all that money and we had a terrible weather day, which is not under his control I understand. We thought we were going out for Mahi-Mahi and Tuna but didn’t know the swells were so bad so we had to stay much closer to shore. Just wish we could have transferred the entire trip to another day because we would have done that before we even got on board that day. The day ended with seasickness because of the chop, and Alek was great throughout and very patient. Would highly recommend this company and captain, just wish I would have had more conversations about the weather conditions that day before heading out.

Instead of fishing we went to the Sea & Air show on Miami Beach. It was an amazing & unique experience.  Captain Alek asked us if we wanted to shift from the evening trip we had planned to an afternoon trip to see the show. It was entirely up to us & it was great advice. He also extended the charter by 2 hours (at no expense). The result was an awesome experience for the whole family. Captain Alek is first class captain & we had a great time with him. The boat is comfortable & fun. We will definitely go out again.

Captain Alek took us out for an epic day on the water. We did some deep drops with an electric reel and snagged an amazing vermilion snapper. Then we went to a reef and free lined yellow snapper. We were getting near the end of the charter, but the conditions lined up and the fish were biting so hard that we stayed almost 1.5 hours over the charter schedule because the fish were popping and Cap Alek was like let’s stay and slay.
